[brluglist] LILO problems - EBDA too big

Hi, all. I have a fun problem to share. I am running
out of the Mandrake development tree, so maybe this is
my fault. : ) I upgraded LILO this morning, and
apparently the install script in the package did not
run /sbin/lilo after the upgrade. Of course, neither
Now when I try and boot Linux, I get "Loading
Linux...EBDA too big", and the system halts. I did
have a rescue bootdisk, but apparently sitting in my
desk drawer was too much for it, and the floppy is
bad. I do not know how to proceed next. Using the
Mandrake install CD, you can get a command prompt, and
I can mount my root partition (of course, not as "/").
However, when I try and run lilo, there are problems
b/c none of the paths are correct.
I can boot my Windows installation just fine from
LILO, so I am not completely crippled, but this really
