Howdy,

I just created the brlugannouncements mailing list at
Yahoo! Groups. Here is the description from the group
home page:

This mailing list is for BRLUG related announcements
only, and is intended to be a low-volume alternative
to the high-volume brluglist mailing list. The
intended audience are those people who would like to
keep up with BRLUG meeting announcements and events,
but do not want the chatter of brluglist.

Me and Dustin will send announcements and moderate
posts to the brlugannouncements mailing list. This
means that you can send messages to
brlugannouncements at yahoogroups.com, but either Dustin
or I will have to approve it. This is not intended to
censor anyone, but instead to keep brlugannouncements
free from noise. If you have something to share and
don't want me or Dustin getting in the way, send it to
brluglist at brlug.net.

If you want to join the brlugannouncements mailing
list, go to the group home page URL below. And let me
know if you have any problems or questions about it.
