[brlug-general] knoppix rocks

I tried to use Knoppix to make an image of a hard drive.
First I couldn't find the software to make the image,
then when I thought I did find something I had to be
root to run it, since you can't load the GUI as the root
user I had to run it from the command line and then
I couldn't get the root user to connect to the display 0.

Anyone else have any luck doing this that can offer
some suggestions?
