Actually, nothing would surprise me in the screwed up state of 
California.  I seem to end up there once or twice a year (I do work for 
Caltech after all) and every time I go back, I remember why I am so glad 
that I do not live there.  I love the state for the geology, etc.  Some 
of the most beautiful places in the world are there - including where I 
lived for a few years - but it is not worth all of the bull***t.  Great 
place to visit, but that is about it.  It won't be long before it is a 
republic of Mexico anyway.  :-)  Oh yeah, and the Second Amendment does 
not exist there either.  And unless you are a minority, neither does the 
First.
